Desktop Projection System targets K-12 educational
market
Montreal, Canada, June 15, 2000 - Today, Robotel, a leading global
supplier of interactive, multimedia, classroom management systems, introduced the SC2000 CB control interface for its SmartClass computer
classroom collaboration systems.
This new entry-level SmartClass computer collaboration system features a simple
3-button user-friendly control interface.
As simple to operate as a projector
"The new CB controller transforms SmartClass into an affordable desktop
projection system for K-12 classrooms," says Gilles Leclerc, Robotel's
Vice-President of Marketing. "Instructors can broadcast their computer
screens to the whole class, blank all student screens or allow students
to work independently. It's simple. It's affordable. It's like having
a projection system where every student gets a front-row seat."

As shown below, the CB Controller is extremely user-friendly. Just select video
broadcast, blank screen or individual work.
Broadcasting is used to display the instructor's screen to all student monitors. Blanking is used to blank all student monitors
and focus students' attention on the instructor. For individual work,
the SmartClass system resets all switching and allows students to return
to their individual screens.
